Saving webpages to read later…

(Image c/o Keith Bacongco on Flickr.)

In a previous post, I listed some of the top apps that I recommend using if you have a smartphone or tablet. I’m currently in the process of putting together a presentation/workshop on some of these tools (watch this space!). One of my personal favourite tools is Pocket, a great tool for saving web pages to read later (other tools are available!).

Pocket is a tool that I use pretty much every day, to the extent now that I would be lost without it! Available as an app on iOS, Android and with several browser extensions, it’s a great way to save articles on the go for when you have more time to read them. Whether you save it on your smartphone, tablet or computer, the webpages will be available on all your devices as soon as you save it (you can even read them without an internet connection!).

Anyway, rather than me try to explain it, this morning I came across this short video on Vimeo which explains the service. In the meantime, keep your eyes peeled for a workshop coming your way (hopefully) soon!
